DWH /BI Data Management Solution Architect (f/m)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Data Warehouse and Business Intelligences Data Management Solution architect is responsible for solution architecture in alignment with business needs and according to architecture principles assessing all dependencies throughout architecture landscape and impacts. Defining, analysing and implementation of Data management processes and workflows (including meta data and data quality management), writing detailed Software Design Specification, providing guidance to developers throughout system implementation, and validating the final product prior to production release.
 
 
Desired skills and experience:
 
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Several years of experience in DWH and BI solution area, banking and financial institution preferable
  • Experience with Data management – Meta data management and/or Data Quality management
  • Very good knowledge of SQL, Unix, Application server architecture, data base architecture and data modelling
  • Understanding of one of the Data management and integration tools welcomed: IBM Infosphere suite (especially Information Governance Catalogue), SAS Dataflux, Ab Initio, EBX, ODI or Information Builder or other tool supporting MtDM/DQM/RDM/MDM
  • Good data modelling  knowledge  and utilization of CASE tools Power Designer, Enterprise Architect
  • Fluent English - both verbal and written communication is a precondition
  • Basic Knowledge in German
