To further strengthen and extend the local team, we are looking for a

HAK Absolvent (m/f)

for our client Shire in Vienna


  • Handling of travel requests i.e submission, approval and booking management
  • Develop an understanding accounting practices relating to contractual agreements, projects and studies
  • Work with Finance and Accounts Payable to resolve any invoice inquiries
  • Maintain on-boarding and off-boarding processes for Research employees
  • Manage or contribute to other ad-hoc projects/initiatives under the direction of the Head of Research Operations


  • Economic education (i.e. HAK Matura) is required, Scientific/health care field preferred, but not required
  • Experience (3+ years) in a financial and/or pharmaceutical/biotechnology setting is preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and some basal experience in project management are highly desired
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Requires strong attention to detail and the ability to establish priorities, schedule, and meet deadlines

The minimum salary for this position is € 2.074,11 gross per month (full-time); increased payment is possible. The contract will be limited until May 2019, an extension of the contract is possible.
