Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Data Entry Clerk for a 5 month contract in Markham. This is hybrid role - 2 days onsite per week. There is a high possibility of contract extension and conversion depending on their performance.
Pay rate: $19.50/ Hour
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm remotely, Tuesdays and Thursdays hours: 8:30am-4:30pm and is onsite (not negotiable – must be able to come onsite Tuesday and Thursday)

Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk, your duties will include but not limited to:
•Processing transactions accurately and on time.
•Escalating processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
•Following firm and industry regulations and operating practices.
•Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives.
•Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements and availability for Overtime as required.
•Reviewing client related forms – while reviewing forms must ensure information provided is correct. If form is correct, then they input information into the business’ system.
Qualifications
•2-3+ years Canadian working experience. Preferably in corporate finance/banking environment
•Solid computer skills are required. Proficient with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Working with excel spreadsheets
•Tech-savvy – quick learner and able to pick up on internal systems
•The successful candidate must be able to work well independently and as a part of a team
•Must possess excellent organizational skills in order to successfully manage volumes and work efficiently.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
•Must be accurate, resourceful and have a willingness to learn.
•The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic individual who demonstrates the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
•Analytical skills – able to comprehend regulatory forms
•High school diploma or GED required. post-secondary would be an asset
•2-4 years of related experience preferred
