    Randstad is seeking an experienced and motivated Payroll Officer to join a NSW Government agency. This role will require the successful candidate to have end to end payroll experience, processing high volume pay-runs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the team with payroll processing, providing a positive customer experience in response to a high volume of queries via a Ticketing System
    • Processing end to end fortnightly & monthly payrolls in a fast paced environment utilising knowledge of payroll legislation, work cover, PAYE, Superannuation, salary packaging arrangements and Award interpretation
    • Preparation, balancing and reconciling payroll, PAYG, tax and superannuation
    • Maintain employee details, pay records, and salary information, overall maintenance of master data
    • Manage internal work flow and capturing of information for new starters, internal movements, and terminations, hire to retire

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 3 years payroll experience
    • SAP system experience is desirable
    • Previous NSW Government experience is desirable
    • Experience processing a large, high volume payroll. i.e. 500-600
    • Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving and analytical skills
    • Superior communication skills
    • Problem solving skills to resolve employee enquiries
    • Strong motivational and logical skills and be able to autonomously work
