Together with our client, global, well-known company who started build SSC center with accounting services we are looking for a talented person for position Head of SSC.

your tasks

  • developing the SSC structures and team
  • improving processes in Poland and providing excellent services to the whole parties
  • managing the accounting team
  • developing and mentoring the team members
  • ensuring knowledge transfer and staff planning, whilst making sure that operations are not severely affected
  • following the internal standards and processes, and providing continuous improvement
  • cooperating with Director of SSC to ensure an efficient and structured way of working
  • meeting clients key requirements and remarks in a timely manner including regular communication with direct supervisor
  • implementing and controlling KPI's
  • providing services to the business in compliance with their policies and needs
  • creating effective communication with external and internal suppliers
  • managing budget of the SSC and reinvoicing costs according to the SLAs

what we expect

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting
  • minimum 5 years’ experience in the area of Finance and accounting (SSC experience would be an asset)
  • excellent knowledge and experience in AP processes
  • proactive and hands on personality
  • very good English, French on minimum communicative level
  • experience in leading and managing a team
  • previous experience in transferring processes
  • ability to help with operational work if necessary
  • overall Tax knowledge - International VAT (work experience in this area would be an asset)
  • ability to optimize and improve processes
  • knowledge regarding change management would be an asset
  • intercompany reporting and reconciliation experience would be an advantage
  • SAP, MS Office skills
