Our client is a multinational insurance Company, a worldwide reference in this sector. We are currently searching for a Pricing Manager (m/f)

skills

Profile:

-Ideally 5+ years experience in a GI Pricing role with people management experience;

-Strong analytical skills with previous experience of applying actuarial/statistical methodologies to business problems;

-Ideally, knowledge of modelling software such as Emblem, RADAR, SAS, R, Earnix;

-Sound understanding of the business and general insurance industry and of the business implications of analytical results;

-Experience of working in a multi-cultural or cross-border organisation an advantage ;

-Experience of working within a framework of legal and company policy procedures and guidelines, adhering to professional standards;

-Qualified Actuary or similar analytical professional with 5+ years experience in a General Insurance (GI) Pricing role ideally with people management experience

responsibilities

Responsabilities:

-Lead a team that deliver accurate and timely Pricing analysis to assist business decision making, financial planning, and strategy development;

-Global role working across countries and cultures;

-Develop solutions, under your own initiative, using sound actuarial/statistical approach to both new and routine Pricing problems;

-Works to integrate the WEM team into the Global Pricing function leveraging best practices and latest innovations and techniques;

-Develop and revise strategic and tactical plans as necessary to meet corporate objectives and respond to environmental changes;

-Support the on-going review of pricing practices, recommending changes and improvements that meet best practice and business objectives and comply with company policies and guidelines;

-Provide sophisticated Pricing options to the Company’s key Product & Pricing change committees to improve profit and volume outcomes;

-Manage and develop key internal and external stakeholder relationships and manage the integration of the department with the wider business to deliver a better service;

-Supervise the day-to-day actuarial operations for the unit by establishing priorities, scheduling, and assigning work;

-Use the objective setting and performance evaluation processes to ensure employees understand the expectations, receive regular feedback, and are appropriately developed and rewarded;

-Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and objectives.
