the role
- Oversee and optimize production processes to meet targets for safety, quality, productivity, and cost. Implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and develop the shift team, ensuring effective performance, employee engagement, and adherence to company policies. Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and training.
- Implement and maintain quality control standards, conduct inspections, and take corrective actions to ensure product compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with maintenance to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to support production.
- Maintain accurate records, prepare shift reports, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations..
the experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with hands-on experience in can/steel manufacturing operations and maintenance.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with strong supervisory and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standards (HACCP, FSSC, GMP, ISO).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in using CMMS and production software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
