    Production Planner

    Randstad Engineering are currently recruiting for a Production Planner to come and work for TATA Steel in Port Talbot.

    This position is paying £32,167 per annum on an initial 6 month contract. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. (2 days, 2 nights)

    The Role -

    To ensure the provision and allocation of detailed production schedules in order to facilitate the execution of the weekly manufacturing plan.

    To prepare data for, and take part in Daily Work Management meetings

    To manage work in process stock levels through effective load balancing through the downstream production areas

    To identify common cause issues preventing timely scheduling of the order load through the downstream production units.

    Identification and communication of unavailable material excluded from schedule

    To ensure that prioritized/expedited orders are addressed through each stage of the identified route, to maintain customer continuity
