Responsibilities:

• Promoting the mental and emotional health of children, young people and families within the hospital and community through clinical interventions and effective decisions.
• Preventing serious mental health problems in children and young people by early identification, good decision-making and signposting to other services where appropriate
• Carry out mental health assessments, including self-harm risk assessments with children, young people and their families
• Offer therapeutic treatment
• Hold a caseload and case manage
• Attend team meetings/case reviews each week

To be considered for the CAMHS Practitioner role ideally you will have:

• 1-3 experience of working within a similar environment
• Experience of working well individually or within a team
• A Diploma/Degree in Social Work
• Registration with Social Work England
• Experience of managing a caseload
