Are you a Qualified Social Worker with experience working with Children? Yes? Do you have experience working with Children with Disabilities? Yes? Bury Council are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities team.
This is a full time role with an amazing pay rate of between £30-£33 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a caseload of children with complex needs
- Undertake statutory assessments and writing reports
- Participate in the planning/reviewing of cases adhering to statutory timescales
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, their families and carers
- Liaise with colleagues in own or other departments or external agencies to gather relevant information for assessment and care planning activities
- Maintain and update case records as per statutory guidance
- Work effectively on complex situations, using own initiative
- Be familiar with local resource networks and undertake capacity building with individuals, families, communities, user groups and voluntary organisations
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree
- Enhanced DBS
- Social Work England registered
Experience:
- Children
- Working with Children with Disabilities is desirable
