Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Knowsley Council Adult Safeguarding Team. This is a full time role with a great pay rate of £25 - £31.15 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Promote the welfare and safeguarding of adults
- Respond to safeguarding referrals
- Ensure interim/long term protection/risk management plans are in place
- Ensure people are actively involved in the safeguarding process and support the outcomes
- Have a good understanding of the Care Act 2014, MCA and DoLS legislation
- Carry out safeguarding enquiries within a timely manner
- Prepare/formulate support plans for people which take account of their views/ wishes in the implementation of those support plans
- To maintain case records to a high standard and produce reports
- Mental Capacity Assessments, best interest meetings, court of protection applications, care planning for vulnerable adults within all service user groups, carers and families
- To participate in developmental activities and to promote improvement of service or the use of resources
- Ensure the statutory duties of the Council are fulfilled and met
- To pursue appropriate personal and professional training and development opportunities a
- To comply with all the Council's Standing orders and Financial regulations
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree
- Social Work England registered
- Enhanced DBS
