Are you an experienced Social Worker? Yes? Do you have experience working with Children within a busy team? Yes? Do you have experience of managing Child in Need and Child Protection cases? Yes? Liverpool City Council are currently looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team.
This is a full time role working 35 hours per week for a fantastic pay rate of £40 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Team Manager in the management, development and leadership of the social work team in order to safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable children, young people and their families to deliver high quality services that address need and lead to improved outcomes
- Manage the reputation of the Service and the Council
- Work within Safeguarding frameworks
- Carry out risk assessments
- Decision making
- Handle a complex and varied caseload
- To promote and safeguard the welfare of children at risk
Requirements:
- Social Work Degree
- Social Work England registered
- Enhanced DBS
Experience:
