Infrastructure Strategy and Core Service Delivery•Support the Infrastructure & Service Delivery Lead to define the overall infrastructure strategy, providing operational and day-to-day insights as appropriate.•Lead the regional infrastructure engineering team to develop, maintain and support the core IT infrastructure and services to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet our needs, allocating resources as necessary.•Implement and monitor standards and procedures to ensure the efficient running of the core IT infrastructure technologies and solutions such as compute, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, and software.•Accountable for continually reassessing, developing, maintaining, and supporting core IT infrastructure and services to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet our needs.•Agree targets for service levels and assessing, monitoring, and managing the delivery of infrastructure services against the targets. Includes identifying opportunities to improve infrastructure service delivery and the impact of future trends.•Implement, manage, maintain, and support the equipment and systems that provide core switching, routing, WIFI, WAN and perimeter network environments ensuring these meet developing needs.

•Strong experience in being an effective 2nd/3rd line support engineer.
•Significant experience in handling major incidents.
•Demonstrable experience of designing and building data storage infrastructure.

•Minimum 8 years of experience in managing staff, including work review, performance reviews and day-to-day coaching.
Skills
•Both a strategic and tactical thinker.
•Strong Vendor Management skills.
•Able to operate in an Agile, Product-centric environment.
