    About the client

    I am representing one of the world's leading market intelligence companies specializing in financial institutions and with more than 80 years of history. They are preferred partners and count some of the largest Fortune 500 companies as their clients where they provide data and market intelligence to assist them in making key business decisions.

    As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking an Operation & Strategy Director to oversee the APAC operations which includes the business development and marketing teams and enable smooth running of various business units to maximize efficiency and alignment.

    About the job

    Reporting to the MD of APAC, your responsibilities include the following

    • To oversee the APAC operations and establish control and processes that is aligned to organizational”s objectives and values
    • To lead and drive transformation initiatives to maximize efficiency and optimize processes across the regional offices
    • You will be responsible for overseeing the respective country manager in terms of operational tasks and direction across the APAC offices
    • To analyze and support APAC region offices budget planning and allocation process
    • Using data to assist in developing & presenting relevant investment proposals to improve and optimize respective offices within the region
    • Responsible for setting KPIs and for Operations Manager and provide relevant feedback where applicable
    • You will serve as the main point of contact for compliance and regional regulators to reinforce risks and control framework within the region
    • Oversee the implementation of operational solutions in response to regulatory and audit findings
    • Responsibility for certain business continuity issues related to the APAC regional offices

    Skills & Experience required

    • Relevant regional operational experience and has strong analytical and leadership skills
    • With exposure in credit , finance, capital markets and is able to work well with cross border colleagues with APAC and Global office
    • Able to manage multi projects and adapt to changing conditions when applicable
