    Our Albury based civil construction client is seeking a Construction Manager to join their growing team. This role offers an opportunity to further your construction career and take a leading role across a range of projects - upto $50M.ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Construction Manager, you will:Take a leading role across multiple concurrent projects, managing several teams and various sites to ensure a high level of performance is maintained, project outcomes are achieved and that problems are dealt with quickly;Support the control, administration and delivery of contracts to assist the Project Managers on selected contracts for effective delivery of contract works;Maintain construction schedules and review project performance;Inspect construction work on site to ensure quality and compliance is achieved;Reporting to management regarding project performance, issues and future planning;Procurement of trades and suppliers, including negotiating and reviewing cost proposals;Develop and maintain good relationships with project owners, site supervisors, tradespeople, architects and developers; andPossess a “can do” attitude and be willing to get your hands dirty, going above and beyond to get the job done. SKILLS & EXPERIENCETo succeed as a Construction Manager you will need:Previous experience with a civil contractor, commercial builder or residential builder, as a site manager/foreman or Construction Manager;Client-focused approach;Experience in managing projects delivery time lines and critical path targets;Outstanding communication and organisational skills with the ability to multitask across multiple projects;Ability to build strong relationships and liaise with subcontractors to achieve best outcomes for the project;Team player with great leadership and motivational abilities; andProven track record of managing on-site safety.
