    Randstad is looking to hire a knitter in Midland, NC. Hours will be 10pm-6am Sun-Thurs $13.75 an hour with a +$1/hour attendance incentive. This role will involve feeding yarn into a machine, checking that all correct materials are being used, and quality checking materials and machines to ensure proper function. You will also be performing general warehouse duties as required eg; stocking materials as needed, keeping a clean work area, and breaking down of cardboard boxes for disposal.Ideal candidates will be team players, have an eye for quality control and be organized.Apply to this job ASAP we are looking to do phone screens, get interviews set up, and get somebody working as soon as next week. ResponsibilitiesEnsures the yarn being put up on creels for each machine is correct in all regards (type, denier, color, lot color and quality). Anywhere yarn can be tied up, it needs to be tied up.Monitor knitting machines in use; perform quality checks on machines and material that include checking for bad needles, sinkers, replacing if necessary and checking for holes or any vertical or horizontal lines.If machine is not running properly the knitter must write the machine number and problem on the Mechanics Board to be repaired.
