As a Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:Manage company's commercial activity, in order to meet sales, profit, regulatory compliance, operational excellence and business development Monitor the market environment and the trends in the local market in order to evaluate business opportunities and risksSet goals, develop competencies and lead the Sales teamDefine with upper management the type and specifications of the services to be acquired and/or delivered, monitoring costs and service levelsFinancial reporting, budgeting, planning and executionDrive and contribute to successful implementation of various projects aiming at business growth and efficiencyImplementation and control of sales working procedures and standardsrequirements
The ideal candidate for the position of Sales Manager will be expected to possess the following:5-10 years of professional experience as a Sales Manager in the Freight Forwarding industry; priority will be given to candidates with experience in the freight forwarding sector, but experience in shipping or transport sectors will also be consideredBachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics or relevant fieldStrong capacity to synthesize and structure market information to liaise with top managementFluency in English languageMaster's degree will be considered a plus (MBA)Experienced user of MS OfficeManagement experience including P&L responsibilityAbility to build, lead and motivate a teamCommunication and presentation skillsAbility to negotiate with a variety of partners on the market Strong business acumenAbility to think strategically and analyze, review, develop, and implement action plansStrong drive to create new business opportunitiesinformation
