...
what will your main focus be in this role?
As a Sales Support Engineer, you will be the key point of contact for large-scale, long-term data center build projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will work closely with contractors to help them identify the right Legrand solutions based on specific project requirements. From providing pre-sales technical support to coordinating post-order execution, you will play a central role in ensuring the successful delivery and implementation of Legrand's cable management systems in data center environments.
At the same time, you will be part of Legrand Nordic Zone, joining a dedicated and dynamic team of over 400 employees across Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Estonia, and Italy as well as their export markets Latvia, Lithuania, Czech, Germany, UK and USA.
Key Responsibilities in the role:
- Act as the primary contact for major data center projects, guiding contractors in selecting suitable Legrand solutions and ensuring successful project delivery post-order
- Collaborate with clients and sales teams to develop forecasts, prepare tailored proposals and quotes, and support with pricing, training, and technical presentations
- Coordinate internally across sales, engineering, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution, while promoting cross-selling of Legrand product lines
- Train and assist contractors/installers in cable management systems and maintain detailed records of contacts, accounts, and project activities
- Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle and actively contribute to regional sales plans and target achievement
The role is based at one of the offices located in Hvidovre, Copenhagen, Denmark or Hägersten, Stockholm, Sweden.
about you
An engineering degree in the mechanical or electrical field – or equivalent technical background through relevant experience – is required. You should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong focus on project management and cable management, ideally within the data center industry. Experience with CAD software and CRM systems will be considered a plus.
Fluency in English and in either Danish or Swedish is necessary for effective communication across both local and international teams.
As a person, you are analytical, communicative, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and under pressure. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, are positive and approachable in your communication with both clients and colleagues, and actively contribute to fostering a collaborative and social work environment.
