Are you an organised and dedicated administrator with a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are seeking a SEN Administrator to join this wonderful school in Lewisham, providing essential support to our client's SEN team and ensuring the smooth operation of our client's SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) provision. This position will begin as soon as possible and the candidate should expect to work Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date SEN records and documentation
• Assist with the administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
• Liaise with parents, staff and external agencies to support students with SEN
• Organise and schedule SEN reviews, meetings and training sessions
• Prepare reports, letters and correspondence related to SEN provision
• Support the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) with day-to-day administrative tasks

Basic requirements:

• Right to work in the UK (Essential)
• Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get new one
• 2 recent professional references
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of SEN processes, EHCPs and related documentation
• A compassionate and proactive approach to supporting students with SEN
