Identifying, supporting and encouraging leadership and innovation, AAL is proven leader in sustainability, supporting diversity and inclusion and offering flexible workplace arrangements.About the role The successful candidate will lead the delivery of planning and design of all services infrastructure projects (energy, water, fire services, telecommunications) including the management of external consultants and engagement with both internal and external stakeholders and service providers. This is a key role within the Planning and Infrastructure (P&I) team, and is offered on an initial 30 month (2.5 years) fixed term contract basis.Key responsibilities include:Provision of strategic and conceptual electrical, hydraulic and stormwater engineering network advice to support airport growth and developmentDevelopment of staged plans for new/upgraded services infrastructureProvision of services connection advice for future commercial developments, and effective communication of these requirements with potential tenantsReview of Building Applications focussed on the assessment of proposed services and any impacts to AAL’s services networkContribute to airport growth, development and sustainability through effective and efficient engineering design and standards for new and existing infrastructure/ facilitiesProvide support to the project delivery team through to project completion, as requiredThe following skills and qualifications will be highly regarded:Engineering degree - Electrical, Civil or MechanicalCPEng qualification is desirableDemonstrated experience with the development and implementation of energy, telecommunications, water and fire services within AustraliaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCollaborative and adaptable approach to prioritising your workStrong and confident communications skills to handle all stakeholdersGood Microsoft Office skills including, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, ProjectCurrent drivers licenceAAL believes that success starts with their people.
