    Job Title- Senior Building Surveyor

    Location- Sunderland

    Salary-£48,000

    Are you an experienced surveyor with excellent knowledge of building standards, compliance, planning and leashold legislation? Are you looking for your next career move into a senior role with an established public sector organisation?

    If so, then this is the opportunity that you have been looking for!

    Our client is an established public sector organisation based in the North East. They are looking for a senior surveyor who is able to provide the following;

    -To act as a team leader, providing and co-ordinatin resources, and be the point of contact for progress updated related to planning of projects

    -To act as a project lead on a range of projects

    -Prepare designs, specifications and drawings for a range of projects, including major housing refurbishments

    -Assist with financial planning, budget setting and optimisation

    The succesful candidate will have experience of the following;

    -Previous experience of managing teams of staff and experience of successfully delivering a similar role within a diverse organisation

    -Experience in the development and implementation of large scale housing investment and compliance programmes including pre-construction H&S information, fire risk assessments and asbestos management

    -Experienced in the costing of specialist surveys and HHSRS budgets

    -Experience of managing workload to meet defined objectives or targets

    The ideal candidate will be a member of MRICS or equal, with an accrediated degree.
