Opportunity to work for one of the largest property development companies in central London. For a client renowned for its commercial developments. Looking for an addition to the team, to aid with some of the company's larger projects. As the senior design manager you will ideally have experience working with high rise, RC frame projects. You will be expected to be able to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate effective leadership and ensure efficiency within different teams involved in the project
• Manage projects on a small or large scale with varying complexity
• Fully understand project requirements including client expectations, employer requirements and construction process. In order to fulfill project goal
• Identify, communicate and mitigate design risks as appropriate
• Identify and communicate opportunities within the design process that improve quality and safety
• Working within all teams in the design process to produce documentation
• Manage design development process throughout different stages, ensuring that updates are given to project managers and design managers.
• Coordinating the entire design process , working closely with clients, stakeholders and design teams. Ensuring documentation such as risk assessments, reports and notes on meetings are produced in a timely manner.
• Carry out visits and inspections as required

Requirements:

• Strong managerial and leadership skills
• Technical literacy
• Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees and subcontractors as well as managers and clients
