summary
You will start your day either from home or from our head office in Diemen as we encourage hybrid working. There will be a lot of interaction with colleagues all around the world. You spend your days acting as their sparring partner on the most complex reporting related topics.
In your role as senior manager, you will also act as a coach to the more junior team members supporting them in solving complex (non) financial reporting matters. As part of our transformational finance program called Finance Forward you will work in project teams on standard charts of accounts, system convergence, data governance and measuring our road to Net Zero emissions.
During the quarters you will work on figures which get published externally, outside the quarters you will work on initiatives which are aimed to strengthen the finance function within the group.
The team is responsible for timely and accurate IFRS financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders are global business control, investor relations, global tax and treasury and the Executive and Supervisory board.
The team is also responsible for the proper reporting of Non Financials under the GRI framework, EU taxonomy and new EU non financial reporting guidelines. For this goal, you analyze and review monthly and quarterly reporting of operating companies, take care of the consolidation process, implement within the Randstad Group changes in IFRS accounting policies and non-financial reporting policies and include these in the accounting/reporting parts of the finance manual respectively non financial guidelines.
This job is a great opportunity for someone who loves to work within finance, who is ambitious and open to new opportunities and projects, and has strong interest and affinity with working in a dynamic, global working context. As the next step within our organization, you should think of a senior role in business control or a senior role in financial control in one of our operating companies.
Furthermore, impactful participation in the group's “Finance Forward” transformational program will lead to interesting new opportunities as you will be working with other functions in Global and in operating companies.
