    Our client is a well-established semi-public corporation that plays a pivotal role within its own field of business. Having restructured their procurement team to a centralised function 2 years ago, they are now looking for an experienced procurement professional to join their team.

    about the team.Led by the Procurement Director, the procurement team is composed of 7-8 people. As the Senior Manager, you are expected to lead a team of 3.

    about the job.As the Senior Procurement Manager, you are responsible for
    • Indirect procurement and strategic sourcing of various categories, such as smart facilities, IT, insurance, corporate services, event & marketing and facilities management services.
    • Support the end-to-end procurement and tendering processes, including tender preparation, user input consolidation, tender execution and assessment, contract negotiation and documentation,etc.
    • Streamline and modify procurement processes, policies, procedures and systems, and eventually develop a long term procurement strategy to achieve better efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Protect company's best interest from the procurement point of view by enhancing terms of purchase orders, tenders and service agreements, as well as the overall procurement spending.
    • Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external parties to facilitate long term procurement strategy implementation.
    • Research and identify new suppliers as well as conduct supplier performance review to maintain a qualified and sustainable supplier base.
    skills & experiences required.To be successful at this position, you need
    • Bachelor degree or above in supply chain, business administration or related disciplines with CIPS/ CPSM qualification preferred.
    • At least 10 years of procurement experience in a sizeable corporation, preferably in the semi-public or public sector, with a well-structured and mature procurement function, plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in taking up a people management role.
    • Solid knowledge and exposure in tendering, contract management and project management.
    • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to facilitate changes and communicate smoothly and effectively across all functions and levels.
    • Experience in using e-procurement system, preferably SAP.
    • Proficient in MS Offices
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
