What you will be doing

• The successful candidate will be taking responsibility for some high value cladding and envelope packages with challenging contractors, so will need to demonstrate a history of strong work in managing large packages and keeping additional costs down to a minimum, together with strong abilities to understand the contract and use it to manage a contractor and their account.

• There will be other packages to manage, as well as the normal surveying duties involved in change management and cost reporting.

Requirements

• 7-10 years experience working within a QS position in the UK
• An excellent approach to work and professional outlook on the construction industry
• Main contractor/developer experience desired but not essential
• RC Frame experience needed
• Strong references
• Computer literate
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid commercial acumen
• Educated to a degree level or equivalent (BSc Quantity Surveying preferred)
