    This position is responsible to perform and communicate selling and cost price analysis, prepare and deliver quotations for specified customers, maintain current status of quotations, assist in the decision making process for releasing final quotes and for coordinating the purchase and release of materials.

    This position is also responsible to for preparing estimates and takeoff quotations utilizing the in house software program.

    Responsibilities
    ● Responsible for the implementation, maintenance and training of in-house take off and estimate software program.
    ● Acts as a resource to support sales and purchasing departments focused on waterworks products
    ● Responsible to prepare quotes in detail for specific customers. Acts as quotation consultant to sales representatives, order desk representatives and specific customers. Ensures all quotations are accompanied with relevant documentation.
    ● Responsible to ensure quotes are processed within the chosen and established price structures, finalizes quotes in conjunction with appropriate Manager
    ● Responsible to ensure quoted products are negotiated for special pricing, order is placed, allocated properly and planned for delivery as required
    ● Verifies/confirms delivery to customers by specified deadlines, investigates inquires and resolves problems with appropriate departments, suppliers and customers as required/requested.
    ● Assists Inside and Outside Sales personnel with major projects and orders including quotations, product selection, product pricing and customer service issues as required/requested
    ● Responsible to address and resolve issues between contactors and internal departments, assists in the decision making process to facilitate and secure contracts that are quoted, makes recommendations as required/requested
    ● Responsible to conduct, communicate market analysis including changes to market and competitor pricing, makes recommendations to improve Company competitiveness and positioning in markets
    ● Responsible to prepare and communicate estimates and takeoffs to Regional Manager
    ● Responsible to liaise with Regional Manager, plan corrective actions and assists with implementation, reviews and reports on corrections/improvements
    ● Responsible for analyzing and rationalizing product specific inventory within designated regions
    ● Responsible to participate in and promote the Company Health and Safety Program; to undertake training as required/requested; to ensure adherence to all Health and Safety guidelines and legislated compliance;
    ● To conduct and/or attend meetings as required/requested
    ● To participate in special sales functions/trade shows as required/requested
    ● To remain current with Company products, services and prices
    ● Prepare and generate reports as required/requested
    ● Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    ● College Diploma in Business Administration, Sales/Marketing or Technical discipline
    ● Minimum three (3) years working in a technical capacity preferably with experience in pricing and quotations and supported with knowledge of fire protection, plumbing/heating and industrial pipe and fittings
    ● A combination of education and experience
    ● Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
    ● Well organized with ability to multi task and work to shifting priorities
    ● Analytical aptitude, detail oriented
    ● Ability to read manuals and blueprints
    ● Computer literate

    Education:
    ● DCS / DEC (preferred)

    Experience:
    ● Technical: 3 years (preferred)
    ● Pipe, Valves & Fire Protection: 1 year (preferred)
    ● Sales: 1 year (preferred)
