Our client designs and manufactures analytical instruments such as liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry and has an outstanding international reputation in its field. They are seeking an Assistant Project Buyer to join their dynamic team.

about the job

As an Assistant Project Buyer (Life Science / Training Provided), your key tasks involve:

  • Assisting in administrative and expediting aspect for projects
  • Support and process all quotations and purchase requisitions
  • Material expeditor for R&D orders and involve in material transfer to manufacturing by ensuring material accuracy for all project materials
  • Working cohesively with logistic, finance and FA team on requests and any resolve invoice/receipt discrepancies

skills and experience required

To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to demonstrate or possess:

  • Min GCE 'O' Level / NITEC / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years of planning/ purchasing experience in a high-tech environment/ life science industry
  • Training will be provided for candidates with no experience
