Position : Software Asset Management Objective: The Software Asset Management Analyst is a member of the Software Asset Management team responsible for tracking, auditing, and administering our 3rd party software portfolio. Role includes managing renewal lifecycle, auditing, deploying, and reporting in order to minimize software overlap, reduce waste, and establish usage patterns. Roles and Responsibilities: Manage the IT software renewal lifecycle, including tracking upcoming renewals, securing quotes, auditing usage, identifying true ups, and creating purchase requests (PR).Perform regular License check and contract renewal forecasts and register in Centralised SAM tool. Identifying potential software alternatives based on business need, use case, and cost analysisPeriodically assist in research and recommendation of software for new business requirementsPerform periodic (quarterly or monthly) software usage audits to validate any discrepanciesProcess software request tickets in ServiceNow Ticketing SystemPartner with Procurement and Global Strategic SourcingManaging pools of subscribed software (cloud / non-cloud)Handling day to day operational processes – Software Provisioning, Supported Software Catalog & Operational Excellence for SLA Skill Requirement: Full time graduate with Computer Science/equivalent experience Experience with Software asset tracking and auditing.Experience with SAP Purchasing system process.Familiar with ServiceNow ticketing tool.Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detailStrong communication and facilitations skillsITIL/ITSM Knowledge is preferredIntermediate skills on Snow License ManagerPreferred any one international languages: German, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Czech.
