IGCSE Coordinator
Required: August 2019 (or sooner if available)
Location: Seoul, South Korea
Region: Far East and South East Asia
Curriculum: British / Inquiry Based Curriculum
Experience Required: 2+ years ideally
Salary: Salary will be the comparable to the UK maintained scales
Sponsorship: Single Teachers, Married Teachers with up to 2 dependents (must be Primary age)
Contract: 2 years renewable

School overview: This school currently operates across four sites in Seoul and offers the English National Curriculum. The curriculum includes a diverse languages programme that includes Mandarin for all children from Nursery age upwards. The main emphasis is on providing a secure, fun and nurturing environment for all children to overcome challenge, develop individually and at their own pace. Places are currently offered to students from 18 months up to Year 8. Each campus has its own distinctive ethos which, with the support of the local community, has evolved over time. However, all campuses share common aims and values.


* This school is seeking to expand, offering up to IGCSE (2019) and subsequently to expand to A Levels. This expansion plan includes a new dedicated secondary campus for the academic year of 2019~2020.
* The candidate must have experience in Coordinating and teaching the IGCSE in an international setting (and ideally up to A Level).
* A Bachelor's Degree in English is preferable and experience at IGCSE Management level is essential.
* The post holds a teaching component and it is anticipated that this will be in English and / or Humanities.
* This will represent the BEK group's first ever group of students put forward to sit IGCSE examinations and as such the school is ambitious to set the standard for subsequent student groups.
* The ideal candidate would have a solid record in teaching, be self-motivated and flexible and able to work in a small, growing school group with passionate school administrators and teachers.
