Background to the Charity
We are working with this registered charity and approved Section 41 Post-16 Specialist Education Provider for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), aged 16-25 with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Learning Disabilities.
They provide the best quality of education and care for vulnerable young people and adults through a vibrant bespoke learning pathway, which enhances their future employability and nurtures outstanding personal development. Their study
programmes are individualised to the needs of each learner to prepare them for education at the next level or for employment.
All learners have access to regular one-to-ones for emotional and wellbeing support alongside their Enrichment Programme and support into employment.
The school have asked me to support them to find an enthusiastic and reliable Speech and Language Therapist. This role will be extremely rewarding, you will be welcomed into a small team of staff and will be supporting young adults aged 16 - 25 with Special Educational Needs.

The role of the Speech and Language Therapist at this school is to provide therapeutic intervention, training, consultation, and advice to:
- Learners aged between 16-25 with Special Educational Needs presenting a with range of communication needs
- Educators, parents/carers
- Employers
The therapist works with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) at the school to discuss and co-ordinate services to meet the diverse needs of Learners. The team reflects a range of professional skills:
- Clinical Psychologist
- Occupational Therapist
- Counsellor
