The Property Accountant will be a member of the accounting team, reporting directly to ownershiip. This position is responsible for maintaining the general ledger, performing financial reporting for a portfolio of real estate operating and development properties. This person must be able to prioritize tasks, be highly organized, and be comfortable handling shifting priorities. A successful candidate have experience in commercial real estate, and hold a bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration. ResponsibilitiesAssist the Property Accountant in the preparation and review of the operating revenue/expense budgets as necessary.Assist in tenant billing inquiries and provide information to property and asset managementGenerate recurring billing comparison report and analysis on a monthly basis.Assist A/R personnel to resolve issues regarding unapplied cash and other tenant billing/receivable issues as necessary.Assist Property Manager with CAM allocation and calculation.Maintain required W-9 documents for vendors, electronically and paper copies, enter into accounting system.
