About the job
Reporting to the Strategy Manager, you will be involved in identifying current and potential new markets across the Asia-pacific region. You will be involved in their corporate strategies to achieve their growth targets, assessing investment decisions and driving activities to support the organization's operations and expansion plans.The strategic projects are relating to payments and blockchain. You will also be involved in identifying, screening and evaluating M&A, joint-venture and investment opportunities. You will be interacting closely with multiple business stakeholders across all levels to achieve the objective.
Skills and experience required
A recognized degree with at least 4 years of strategy experience in the commercial sector (e.g. in-house strategy role in fintech/payment start-up) with regional exposure. You also possess excellent business acumen, communication and influencing skills to confidently liaise with the senior management and business partners. You are a self-starter who is able to thrive in ambiguity and within fast changing environment, comfortable being hands-on and getting involved in the business operations alongside strategies.
