Danışmanlığını yapmakta olduğumuz R&D firmamız için Project Services Manager arayışımız vardır.

We are looking for a candidate who is going to support the company’s three main focus areas given above in the following ways:
Project Management for the new and ongoing software development projects.
Service Management for the operational support of the completed projects.
Product Management for the new product development initiatives.

The project management and service management skills is going to take precedence over the product management skills in the beginning. So the candidate is not expected to have product management skills. However, during the product development phase, the candidate will be expected to manage the R&D project, hence will be involved in the product development lifecycle.

qualification

Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Develop project plans working with the technical team.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Identify and resolve dependencies between the different work products.
Challenge the technical team about the viability of their proposed plans.
Negotiate with the technical team and make sure the plan is agreed by all stakeholders, especially in phases where the project is under time pressure.
Use project planning and management tools such as Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, Trello, Jira, etc.
Ability to take notes during internal and external meetings, document notes, decisions and actions identified during the meeting. Keep track of the meeting outcomes and ensure they are being followed by relevant parties.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks
Experience with ITIL framework, knowledge management systems, contract metrics and SLAs.
Ability to manage customer requests, incidents and problems throughout the lifecycle of the defined service management processes leading the technical team.
Assigning tasks to support engineers throughout each work day that are based on SLAs, resource availability, and the skills.
Reviewing both tactical and longer-term metrics for the team and handling performance that is outside of the defined thresholds.
Offers exemplary customer service, including maintaining customer relationships and ensuring repeat customers by upselling products and services and taking care of any customer concerns or complaints quickly and professionally.
Sets up and maintains service desk, including managing service desk team members and evaluating desk efficiency.
Resolves service desk problems and improves current service desk methods to increase productivity and customer service.
Regularly audits work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met and that support is carried out effectively, correctly, and thoroughly.
Managing external service providers if any.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (Optional)
- Determine customers' needs and desires by specifying the research needed to obtain market information.
- Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors'products.
- Ability to contribute to product pricing, competitive analysis, sales planning, financial planning and strategy
- Ability to develop time-integrated plans for product introduction; developing
marketing strategies.
- Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses; answering questions and requests.
- Prepare return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and software development.
- Lead the team to deliver an end product by coming up with the strategy to do so. Develop product roadmap in doing so.
- Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains product management staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- The product manager will often work with the project manager, as well as the customer and sales team. But in this role product manager is also expected to accomplish project management tasks.

- Attendance at some customer facing events to give customers exposure to the support team and process.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Knowledge of PC usage and related software packages (e.g. outlook, browsers, Sharepoint, Office Suite)

PERSONAL
- An attitude of quality, diligence and thoroughness is essential; the successful candidate will display a commitment to continuous improvement of processes and deliverables.
- Verbal and written communication skills need to be demonstrated. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and present ideas clearly, and have a passion for resolving customer problems.
- Proven presentation and client facing skills.
- An ability to work in both small and large teams is required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
- Minimum five years direct experience with customer facing project management, or technical management roles such as Project Manager, Service Manager, Business Analyst, Test Manager etc.
