2nd Line IT Support

My market leading IT client is looking for experienced IT support engineers to work in their busy IT support call centre.

You will be working in a call centre environment but drawing on your previous hardware and software experience to provide an end to end high level of customer service to a variety of IT issues. You should have knowledge of both infrastructure and networking and be an excellent communicator.

You will be taking ownership of issues end to end and ensuring a satisfactory customer incident resolution whilst providing full documentation.

Essential Experience

* 3+ years of direct contact centre experience in similar Intel based hardware environments.
* Similar length of time providing 2nd line support
* Experience troubleshooting from a solution level for appropriate data collection (logs) and isolation: architectural level and interfaces between componentry and the data flow
* Networking troubleshooting experience (i.e. Internet protocols).
* Used to working a variety of shifts
* Intel and networking experience

Technical Skills

* Technical knowledge of VMware, Microsoft, RedHat, Nutanix, and SUSE
* Microsoft: MCSA and MCSE certifications (server operating systems, infrastructure, and cloud).
* VMware: VCP6-DCV, VCIX6-DCV strongly preferred
* Red Hat: RHCSA, RHCE, RHCA (Datacenter, Cloud)
* Cisco: CCNA

Though not essential if you speak any second languages this would be very favourable so my client supports globally.
