Are you an experienced in accounts? Do you want to be a part of a major construction project?

A construction contractor is looking for an Accounts Clerk to join their team on an ongoing basis, 6 months contract with a high possibility of an extension for the duration of the 3 year project. You will be located in Bridgwater. The hourly rate is dependant on experience. Working hours are 8am - 5pm.

Experience within the construction industry is ideal. Accounts experience is necessary.

Responsibilities:



* Good receive notes
* Cost matching
* Plant hire and returns
* Checking and approval of invoices
* Entering material tickets onto the system
* Raising minor orders
* Allocation and coding of all delivery tickets
* Evaluation of costs
* Preparation of reporting requirements and deliveries
* Prepare cost transfers so cost allocation is accurate


The ideal candidate will have:



* Strong accounts knowledge
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word
* AAT or RICS qualification is ideal
* The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
* Experience in the Construction Industry would be a bonus
