The Administrator (Export) is a role within the Project Administration Department, which is part of the Finance Group, provides an administration service for Home & Export projects managed through Poole, manages supply only contracts for standard equipment, undertakes special account management for bulk supply contracts and provides the Import/Export functionality for the Business.
What are my responsibilities?
The key areas of responsibility for this post will include:Ensure that orders are executed to time and to cost.Ensure that delivery promises to customers are achieved, CVO’s are managed effectively and that any adverse variations to margins are assessed and reported upon.Minimise stock levels and debt associated with contracts under control.Input relevant information into SAP, work closely with Production to minimise stock, monitor payments and work closely with Credit Control in the event of a referred debt situation arising.Maintain close relationships with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Services.Through regular contact ensure that a ‘no blame’ culture is maintained with these departments such that client commitments are not adversely affected and that costs are minimised.Maintain good customer relationships.Ensure that customer relationships and expectations are adequately maintained and where possible exceeded, with any complaints being dealt with promptly and sensitively and escalated as appropriate.Provide import and export function for ITS.Provide the Import/Export Functionality for the ITS Business and act in accordance with current legislation and applicable national and international law. Ensure that Export Documentation is accurately and in a timely manner to enable shipping dates to be adhered to.ICC Billing.Use the ICC Billing for orders ensuring all invoices are cleared and cash received from the customer on a monthly basis. Ensure any failed invoices in ICC are followed up and cleared in a timely manner.
What do I need to qualify for the role?
