Air Quality Service Manager

Would you like to be part of one of the most ambitious air quality improvement projects in London? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Air Quality Service Manager to lead a team, and communicate effectively with senior leaders to influence future strategies based in a Local Authority in North London.

Post: Air Quality Service Manager

Rate: Circa £457.24 per day

The main duties of the role are as follows;



* To plan, direct and coordinate activities to identify and implement service functions, projects and initiatives to fully exploit commercial opportunities and maximise generated income. Research, develop and pilot new Commercial opportunities.
* To monitor delegated budgets and provide regular income and expenditure and milestone reports to the Head of Selective Licensing and Regulation.
* To develop accurate and auditable management reports including the development and implementation of databases, data collection systems and data analytics.
* As necessary, represent the Council in complex legal cases and disputes within remit of service area and/or within area of specialist knowledge/expertise.

Requirements



* Successful operational management experience of an enforcement team in a business regulatory field. Experience in managing a multi-disciplinary high profile and successful team.
* Proven experience of working with a range of relevant strategic partners on the development and/or the delivery of joint action plans
* In depth knowledge and understanding of the range of legislation relevant to the Section at a policy and practical level.
* Degree or equivalent or vocational qualification in relevant subject or area.
