The hiring company is one of the leading providers of property related Asset Management. It provides a full range of property management services to both public and private sectors. Due to the success and expansion of the business, they are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, dynamic Building Maintenance Operative / Labourer who will contribute to the team meeting challenging business targets.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for:

- assisting reactive maintenance tasks whilst also assisting Building Fabric, Electrical and Mechanical tradesmen to carry out various planned and reactive maintenance tasks, in order to achieve a high level of service delivery.


The Building Maintenance Operative/Labourer will:

* Carry out planned and reactive works within the agreed times and to the highest standard, complying with current regulations and clients specifications
* Working either as part of the maintenance team completing small maintenance activities or within a projects team for larger installations under the instruction of a local site supervisor or work independently on minor works projects without local supervision
* Able to carry out works as per agreed timeframes ensuring practical completion is achieved as scheduled
* Undertake a range of maintenance repairs including installation of building fabric fixtures & fittings, replacing lamps, installation of containment & cable, replacing sanitary ware etc.
* Management & replenishment of local site stock
* Deliveries of material between sites and local suppliers
* Sites Waste Management
* Observing the highest levels of health and safety at all times and ensure the best possible working practices are adhered.
* Cutting & coring of access holes
* Patching & Painting
* Fire Stopping
* Overall site welfare duties
* Will be comfortable working at height


Essential Criteria

- Full UK Drivers Licence

- Experience in planned & reactive maintenance

- Knowledge of the Trade/Building industry
