Building Surveyor

Do you back yourself as a client facing Associate Building Surveyor? Do you back yourself to be able to draw on the fantastic network a £1m+ business already has, in order to build a successful Building Surveying division within a multi-disciplinary firm?

If you're a Building Surveyor that thinks this sounds like you then look no further. This exciting firm is an expanding niche practice of Chartered Surveyors celebrating 10 strong years this year. With clients and project predominantly in London and the South East, the business current stands 15 strong and specialises in acquisition and disposal measured surveys, 3D Revit models, rights of light/boundaries and topographical land surveys. This leaves a fantastic opportunity for natural growth into the commercial Building Surveying market and has thus created a new and exciting opportunity for an MRICS Building Surveyor at Associate level.

The firm has a strong social culture and a large, loyal client base who are already asking the firm for commercial Building Surveying services.

How the successful Building Surveyor will be rewarded:

* Up to £75,000 basic salary
* Substantial fee share scheme - 15% of all fees above 2.5x basic salary

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Acting as Contract Administrator, Project Manager, Project Monitor and/or Employers Agent in relation to project work
* Professional building surveying work including building inspections, dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys and party wall
* Use the firm's network to develop business, fulfil clients requirements and offer work of the highest standard
* Become an APC Supervisor and/or Counsellor to graduate surveyors


* Building Surveying degree or equivalent
* MRICS qualified ideally with 5+ years PQE
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Client facing, strong team player and ability to work under pressure
* The ability to build long lasting relationships with clients and colleagues
