Key Duties / Responsibilities

* Identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analysing sales options
* Selling products and services by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending relevant solutions that are profitable to SMLL's business.
* Collaborating with all areas of the business, particularly marketing, to establish and develop the most realistic sales goals for SMLL.
* Performing and overseeing all sales activities including sourcing leads, setting meetings and negotiating pricing and discounts in consultation with the SMLL directors
* Ensuring prospects have a full and clear picture of the products and services available to them from SMLL.
* Keeping lead and prospect records up to date and actively managing an opportunity pipeline in the CRM system, to maximise opportunity exploitation
* Playing a lead role in developing new business pitches and proposals for prospects
* Producing detailed monthly reports and other reporting and information to the SMLL executive team as and when required
* Keeping abreast of changes, trends and events in the account, product and competitive market places and advising the business
* Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies

Skills & Experience

* The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering against targets. You will be an accomplished presenter with the ability to quickly build strong client relationships.
* Experience in business development and sales within the CAV or ULEV market
* Demonstrable track record in delivering self-generated new business sales against targets
* Strong consultative sales skills with a focus on providing solutions
* Accomplished and highly effective relationship builder
* Be able to demonstrate high levels of commercial awareness
* Self-directed, motivated and driven
* Influential with great negotiating skills

Communication Requirements

Eligible candidates must be highly proficient and confident with communicating at all levels within a business and demonstrate excellent presentation skills.
