We are looking for experienced support workers to give excellent support to children and young people in a residential setting. This support role will give you great job satisfaction, a real feeling that you are changing and making a difference to someone's life. Not only will you being making a difference but you will be working as part of a fantastic and well supported team, who all have the same drive and determination to make a difference.

The role will be based at one place of work which has the residential area linked to the school and you will be required to support in both areas. The service users are aged between 8-16 years old, and require support with day to day life.

They have some of the UK's leading experts in working with young people with autism and challenging behaviours and so much more.

The role we are advertising is for temp to perm or ad hoc, we also offer great rates of pay which are £8ph to £9ph and sleeps will be paid on an hourly basis. The shifts patterns are 7.30am till 4pm for the early shift, 3.30pm till 10pm for the late shift and sleeps 10pm till 7.30am.

The role will be challenging and your main duties will include:

* Giving personal care as and when required
* Administering medication
* Following care plans
* Supporting with in school setting when required
* Providing support for children's families

The ideal candidate would have:

* 6 months experience with working with autism and challenging behaviour (adults or kids)
* Able to understand and be empathetic.
* Willing to do Personal Care depending on the needs of the clients.
* Passionate about improving the lives of children.
* NVQ in Health and Social care would be an advantage but not essential.
