Civil Technician wanted by an award winning Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy in North London, specialising in the design of building structures and associated civil engineering infrastructure.

The role will involve working within the civil engineering team. The suitable candidate will be experienced in the preparation of drainage and highway infrastructure GAs, Sections, Details and Schedules, assisting with preliminary design and compiling drawing packages for tender, construction and adoption.

Projects range from single buildings to large new-build and regeneration developments, both residential and commercial with values in excess of £200 million.

The suitable candidate will be well versed in the use of AutoCAD and Civils 3D and will be familiar with current roads and drainage design standards and BIM. Knowledge of Microdrainage, SUDS and Revit would be advantageous.

The suitable candidate should be qualified to at least HNC level or similar, and have several years of UK based experience in a consultancy environment, be proficient in producing clear and concise engineering drawings and have excellent communication skills. The role involves work independently and as part of a team of engineers and technicians.
