My client is a highly competitive and growing organisation in the Fit Out sector, who is looking to take on a Commercial Manager, who will oversee Estimating and Quantity Surveying function for the business. This role is based in Harrogate. Last year their turnover was £10m, along with a projected turnover this year of £13m. Their 4 year growth plan anticipates a £20m turnover. This small team offers great communication channels and an inclusive feel; with all colleagues working together from inception to completion on all projects.

Their projects range from £50,000-£2m across the commercial sector, refurbishing offices, bars and restaurants and exclusive sport team facilities. Candidates are expected to be proactive and interact with honesty and openly with all colleagues and clients at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee all functions of the commercial team, be responsible for pricing, variations and final account agreements.
* Reporting directly to the Managing Director
* Develop and implement systems and procedures throughout the department to ensure clear communication channels
* Create suitable budgets for clients and tender designs in a timely manner
* If required all collateral warranties and performance bonds are presented appropriately to clients
* Required to negotiate with subcontractors to maximise margins
* Ensure CDM and H&S are followed at all time within the companies regulations
* Perform to KPI's at all times

Experience and Qualifications:

* Essential experience of Microsoft Office, e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook,
* Must have experience of MS Project 13
* Experience when adhering to Health & Safety regulations
* Estimating experience is essential

My client is offering a competitive salary of £55,000-65,000 per annum, with an attractive benefits package:

* £5,000-6,000 Car Allowance
* 5-10% bonus per year dependent on company revenue
