Being a community nurse comes with certain responsibilities including:

* Liaising with a team of nurses at the start of each day
* Travelling and visiting patients in their homes

A community nurse is a highly skilled role demanding many essential and desirable skills such as:

* Catheters (M, F & SP)
* Injections
* Compressions

* Cannulation
* Wound Care
* Blood Pressure
* Leg Ulcer Management
