Our district nurse role in Wigan could be for you! This is an ideal opportunity for anyone looking for the next step in their career. We have an abundance of shifts available during the day time and twilight hours for Band 5 and Band 6 RGN's.

A community nurse position has certain responsibilities, including:



* Travelling and visiting patients in their homes
* Dealing with a variety of needs
* Providing the most attentive care for patients
* Liaising with a team of nurses at the start of the day


A community nurse is a highly skilled position, demanding familiarity with the following:



* Injections
* Palliative care
* Wound care
* Vaccinations
* Leg ulcer management
