Document Controller

Are you an experienced cost clerk who is looking for a new job opportunity in Cambridge?

A construction contractor is looking for a cost clerk to join their team on a 12 month contract. You will be working on site in Cambridge. This is a fixed term contract role paying circa £18k +.

Studying for AAT or RICS would be beneficial. Experience within the construction industry would be ideal. Strong user of excel necessary. Full UK driving license


* To work for a large sub-contractor within construction
* A friendly team

* Checking and approval of invoices
* Allocation and coding of all delivery tickets
* Weekly analysis of material and plant schedules
* Evaluation of staff costs
* Assist commercial lead
* Preparation of reporting requirements and deliveries
* Prepare cost transfers so cost allocation is accurate
* Creating final cost reports
* External visits
* Ad-Hoc duties

The ideal candidate will have:

* Excellent communication skills
* A full UK driving license
* Strong IT skills in MS Office including Outlook, Excel / Word
* AAT or RICS qualification
* The ability to multitask and have high attention to detail
* Experience in the Construction Industry / working on-site would be a bonus
