Responsibilities :



* To receive, process and manage requests as required by the role
* To enter information accurately using appropriate computer systems, in accordance with legislative requirements and force policy and procedure
* Record, store and supply information in accordance with force policy and procedure and legislative requirements
* To carry out the creation and management of occurrences within Niche: classifying crime, nominal management, application of the correct force classification and NICL qualifiers, and carry out crime compliance checks as required
* To carry out the finalisation of occurrences within Niche : to finalise crime, ASB and public safety and welfare occurrences, apply status outcomes for crimes, and carry out the required quality check upon finalising
* Create and manage victim letters as required by the force
* To record and manage Action Fraud referrals in accordance with Home Office crime recording and force policy and procedure
* To carry out additional tasks and training as required by the role

Requirements:



* You must be from a very strong customer serving background
* You must have excellent knowledge of all Microsoft packages and ideally have used crime recording systems or be willing to develop in this area
* You must be happy with shift work as this role requires people to work different shifts including through evenings/early hours
* You must have a knowledge of Home Office Rules
* You must be willing to undertake Gwent Polices' vetting procedures before starting this role
