About the role:
Manage a portfolio of sites within the Delivery workstreamManage the suppliers to ensure delivery of project requirements ensuring delivery quality and timescales.Manage all finances for the project, to ensure that Budgets are managed within targets.Ensure that all relevant databases are accurate for both static and dynamic data through effective management of the supplier relationship.This role is focused on the design and delivery of Radio and Mobile Antenna Telecommunication sites
Main Responsibilities:The central liaison to build suppliers in relation to site activity, Acquisition, radio planners and transmission.Approval of finance and variations (up to set thresholds)Monitoring that supplier Milestones are being met (SLAs and KPIs)Ensure that the appointed Principal Designer and Principal Contractor adheres to the latest agreed Design and Construction scheduleProgramming and leading for gating and/or declaration meetingsDemand checks to the latest 3 year plan, grouping demand wherever possible after review with senior management if changes are required.Handover pack approvalFormally Instructing suppliers for PC and PDDesign Review / (Techcical Design Approval is Allowed but the PD always remains responsible as Principal Designer for the overall Health and Safety and design liability of the site)
To be considered:Previous experience with roll out working as Supplier lead or Operator basedexperience with 3G, 4G & 5G technology is desirableConsiderable experience in leading and managing multi-skilled teams to manage projects within the telecommunications market.Competent in the acquisition, planning, construction and legal process and in the Design and Build Process and Procedures.Excellent interpersonal skills and abilities in managing suppliers and multi-skilled teams.Intermediate skills in MS Excel and WordClear and concise communication to team members, Stakeholders and Suppliers.Strong planning and organisational skills to manage effectively in the face of change.Ability to create and provide progress reports concisely and accurately to relevant parties – management and internal/external Stakeholders.An aptitude and drive to deliver agreed targets/objectives by ensuring any risks/issues to project delivery are identified and dealt with in a timely fashion.Knowledge of budgets, estimates, contract sums and financial controls.
