Are you an experienced Design Manager looking for a new exciting opportunity to be based in the North East of England?

The client I am currently working with operated in various sectors including healthcare, education, industrial, retail, sporting venues, transport infrastructure, marine and river, energy, commercial and leisure.

We are currently looking for a Design Manager to control and coordination all technical information between external and internal departments.

Package & Benefits:

Up to £60,000

Car allowance




Key responsibilities:

* Build relationships and develop integration between the client/ design/ project teams, planning, conservation, building control authorities and the supply chain
* Liaising with external and internal consultants
* Collating all drawings
* To drive the design elements of projects
* Monitoring the whole design process within the project
* Good planning knowledge
* Co-ordinate the design teams and challenges each decision to create the most cost effective design solutions
* Explore innovative design solutions investigate best value techniques and promote sustainability

What we are looking for:

* Working knowledge of multi-disciplinary engineering design
* Commercial and contractual awareness
* Team and line management skills/ experience
* Excellent communication skulls
* Strong customer focus
* Experience with Auto CAD software would be an advantage
