We are currently recruiting for a Drama teacher for a secondary school based in Denbighshire. The school commits itself to provide the best education it possibly can to a multitude of different students allowing them to achieve at the highest levels. The school are looking for the ideal candidate to begin after the Easter holidays. The contract is initially for one term but the position could become permanent in September for the right candidate.

As you will be joining an established team, you will be required to:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of Education
* Be an outstanding and innovative classroom practitioner who can lead and enthuse students
* Have a proven track record of impacting on student achievement and the development of the department
* Have excellent organisational and communication skills, with an eye for detail
* Exude a passion for learning and a driving ambition for every learner to progress
* Creative approach to teaching as well as being flexible and adaptable

Responsibilities

* Make sure lessons are planned at the right level of difficulty to match individual students, challenging the more able students and pushing them towards top grades
* To maintain excellent behaviour management and follow the school's policies
* Attending parents evenings, specific meetings with parents, as well as relaying behavioural issues to parents and carers when needed
